Letter: Vancouver schools need Sproul

By Marta Gray, Vancouver
Published: November 2, 2019, 6:00am

As the parent of two children attending Vancouver Public Schools and as a teacher in the district for 30 years, I strongly endorse Kyle Sproul for VPS School Board Position 1. Kyle’s priorities are aligned with our community values and she is willing to confront challenges head on. Bringing a fresh perspective to the board as a VPS parent, Sproul understands the needs of parents and community alike. Kyle will create a culture of results, putting “kids first” in her work to close the achievement gap. A fiscally responsible MBA, Kyle Sproul is the change Vancouver Public Schools desperately needs.
