Letter: Long is wrong for Congress

Carolyn Long is wrong for Congress.

She’s unelectable: A nearly six-point loss during 2018’s “Blue Wave” election — despite outspending Jaime Herrera Beutler — isn’t a gap: it’s a chasm.

She’s unprincipled: Want to confuse a Long supporter? Ask which of her policies they support. That’s because Long has no policies and no ambition for reform.

She’s absent: Outside her college bubble, Long limits herself to photo ops and fundraisers. Remember, she moved here to run.

She’s bought: Mr. Long sells pharmaceuticals for pharma giant Sanofi-Aventis. She can’t make unbiased decisions about our health care.

Carolyn Long is the same mistake, twice.
