Camas volleyball rallies back to take seventh at 4A state

Papermakers beat Mead, Richland on Saturday

YAKIMA — It began as a scramble.

But the ending couldn’t have been scripted any better.

The Camas volleyball team (19-7) responded to its opening loss in the Class 4A state tournament with three straight victories, notching the last two Saturday to earn the seventh-place trophy — the Papermakers’ best finish since taking fifth in 2014.
