Tracy Doriot, of Vancouver-based Doriot Construction, was selected to serve as the first vice president of the board of directors for the Building Industry Association of Washington. He was selected following a unanimous vote at the fall board meeting in Spokane, placing him on the executive committee. According to a news release, “he and other members of the BIAW’s leadership team will determine the nonprofit’s focus points, aimed at improving the building industry statewide.” Doriot also serves as a director for the Building Industry Association of Clark County, the National Association of Home Builders, and the Parks Foundation of Clark County. ControlTek hired Stacey LaFrazia Smith as principal, a promotion from her prior role as vice president of human resources and marketing. “Her focus on relationships and organizational connections will deepen the network of support throughout the regional manufacturing community,” a news release about the hire said. ControlTek, 3905 N.E. 112th Ave., Vancouver, provides a range of custom electronics design and manufacturing services for defense, aerospace, medical and industrial companies.

Identity Clark County selected Matthew Bisturis to fill the Ed Lynch board seat, a one-year courtesy appointment to the group’s board of directors. Bisturis is a business and real estate attorney for Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt in Vancouver. A member of the Oregon and Washington state bars, he has been involved with the Parks Foundation of Clark County, Leadership Clark County, WSU Vancouver and the Clark College Foundation. Identity Clark County is a nonprofit organization comprised of business leaders.

Craig S. Eastwood was hired as the chief financial officer at CytoDyn Inc., a Vancouver-based biotechnology company at 1111 Main St., Suite 660. He was first hired by CytoDyn in April as its vice president and controller. In his new role, Eastwood will lead the company’s financial operations and treasury. He is a licensed certified public accountant, and was previously a CFO for two publicly traded startup companies, as well as an auditor at Deloitte.
