It’s beginning to look a lot like Thanksgiving, but Christmas, too, as workers decorated the community Christmas tree Tuesday in Vancouver’s Esther Short Park.

Jeff St. Mary, territory manager of All-Clean! SoftWash, has taken charge of stringing holiday lights on a tree in Esther Short Park for the past 14 years in preparation for the annual Community Tree Lighting by the Rotary Club of Vancouver.

“It’s pretty awesome to have dedicated employees who come out each year and do this tree,” said Jennifer Ricca, general manager of All-Clean! SoftWash based at the company’s Tigard, Ore., location. “They know how the tree works.”

The festivities begin at 4 p.m. Friday and culminate at 6 p.m. with Santa’s arrival and illumination of the tree.
