The Clark County Permit Center is scheduled to close for a week at the end of December for staff training and to catch up on permit applications. The office will close Dec. 25 for Christmas, and will remain closed through Jan. 1.

All other county offices, including all other Community Development offices and services, will remain open during regular business hours except Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. The Permit Center will reopen along with all other county offices Jan. 2.

The training session will prepare staff for a new permit application process that the county plans to begin using in 2020. After Jan. 1, permit application packets for new construction will need to be complete with all required information in order to be accepted.

A list of required information is scheduled be added to the county website in mid- or late December. More information is available at clark.wa.gov/community-development/permit-center.
