A 22-year-old Vancouver man was arrested in Sandy, Ore., last week on suspicion of multiple charges of rape stemming from a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl, according to authorities.

The Sandy Police Department said in a Tuesday news release that its investigation into Michael Luna is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.

Luna is in custody at the Clackamas County, Ore., Jail on seven counts of third-degree rape and a single count of third-degree sodomy.

Officers came upon a suspicious vehicle on Creekside Loop, near Tupper Road in Sandy, around 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 22, the police department said.

Luna and the girl were both inside the vehicle, naked, police said.

“The teen told officers she had met Luna on Snapchat, had told him her true age, and that they had been engaged in a sexual relationship for the past two months,” the release says.

Luna reportedly admitted the same to police and was arrested.
