Letter: Reject trade agreement

By Michael Delavar, Washougal

Whether you want the impeachment or not, a bigger issue (in the long term) is the USMCA. That stands for United States Mexico Canada Agreement. It is NAFTA on steroids. It expands the power of foreign government control over trade, our businesses, and people. Americans who love freedom should reject the USMCA. Ever notice how difficult it is for the Brits to leave the European Union? Let’s reject the USMCA so we never have to go down that road to regain our freedom.

It is far easier to keep freedom than to re-establish freedom.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
