East Mill Plain — Mill Plain Elementary School teacher Anna Ball has been part of a program called Operation Pillow Talk for the last seven years. The program is a community service project in Vancouver that looks to lift the morale of deployed active military service members by providing them pillowcases decorated for the holidays. The pillowcases created by students were shipped this month to troops stationed around the world.
