2A GSHL football: Washougal 40, Mark Morris 7

On a rainy evening in Longview, Washougal threw for four touchdowns in the first half.

Dalton Payne hit Jakob Davis for three touchdown passes; 20, 30 and 15 yards. Payne also connected with Julien Jones from 11 yards.

Davis led all receivers with six catches and 76 yards.

Gavin Multer had a game-high 71 rushing yards, highlighted by a 48 yard run in the second half.

Judson Mansfield took the opening kickoff of the second half 70 yards for a touchdown.

The Washougal defense forced four turnovers, including three fumble recoveries and an interception by Theodosy Berry.
