Corwin Beverage Company, a food and beverage distribution company headquartered in Ridgefield, announced Tuesday that it has acquired the assets of Seattle-based beer and wine distributor Browar Polska Inc.

Corwin and its subsidiaries distribute beer, wine, convenience foods, coffee and Pepsi-brand soda throughout the Portland metro region. Browar Polska distributes alcoholic beverages to retailers, bars and restaurants, with a focus on European import wine and beer. Browar Polska holds exclusive statewide distribution rights for nearly 100 craft and import beer brands, according to a press release from Corwin.

Browar Polska CEO Witold Szczepaniak will partner with Corwin and continue sourcing new beer and wine import products, according to the press release. Browar Polska’s Seattle facility will continue operations as an independent business unit, with minimal staffing changes apart from moving some administrative and technical functions to Corwin’s Clark County headquarters.

Further terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The deal closed in September.
