Free clinic receives $6,200 grant

BAGLEY DOWNS — The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington recently received a $6,200 grant from the Price Foundation. The clinic will use it to supply medication for low-income and uninsured patients, including medical and dental patients who need antibiotics, insulin and other medicines. According to a news release, the on-site dispensary has filled between 8,000 to 10,000 prescriptions annually and has 500 volunteer professionals. For more information, visit freeclinics.org.
