Letter: Don’t believe numbers from China

I thought that newspapers were supposed to be able to verify facts when they published information. The banner headline in the April 1 Columbian states that the U.S. death toll has now passed China.

No one with half a brain believes any “information” that the Chinese Communist government puts out about the COVID-19 virus. They have done nothing but lie to the world about every aspect of this vicious disease since it began in Wuhan in late 2019 and continue this trend.

Secondary, nongovernment information about the number of urns being used in China as well as other nongovernment information belies the official death toll count put out by the Chinese government by a wide margin. Also, actual, verified information in other worldwide newspapers dispute China’s official death toll count as well.
