Out of concern for the safety of volunteers and customers during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Master Gardener Foundation of Clark County canceled its popular Mother’s Day weekend plant sale at the 78th Street Heritage Farm. It hopes to offer a sale this fall.

The annual sale in May supports the Washington State University Clark County Master Gardener program and the foundation’s grant program, which gives out $35,000 in horticulture grants each year.

Sept. 12 is the tentative date for a rescheduled sale.

There will be perennials, trees, houseplants, shrubs and possibly some seasonal fall vegetable plants.

Check www.mgfcc.com for updated information about the plant sale.
