Special election ballots for Woodland mailed

WOODLAND — Ballots were placed in the mail Friday to voters in the Woodland school district for the April 28 special election.

Those who don’t receive one by April 16 can contact the Clark County Elections Office at 564-397-2345, go to clarkvotes.org and click the “need a replacement ballot?” tab or send an email to elections@clark.wa.gov. County staff strongly encourage voters to not request ballots in person, according to a news release.

The online or mail in — elections office, P.O. Box 8815, Vancouver — registration deadline is 5 p.m. April 20. In-person registration will be available until 8 p.m. April 28, though social distancing protocols will be enforced.

Ballots will start to be counted at 6 p.m. on Election Day. Results are expected to be available around 8:15 p.m. on clarkvotes.org.
