Letter: School buses should buckle up

By James M. Elieff, Vancouver
Published: April 23, 2020, 6:00am

Now that school is out for maybe the year, and maybe only until Labor Day, why don’t they put safety belts on all the school buses and save our children in case of and accident? Do you have any idea how much I would have to pay if a local policeman pulled me over and found out that my safety belt wasn’t on? So why do the school buses get away with it?

Our children can get hurt a lot more if they get into an accident. So let’s have our school buses buckle up.
