Letter: Congressional spending is suspicious

By
Published:

Where is the uproar about including $1.75 billion for a rebuild of the FBI building and $8 billion for weapons in the Coronavirus Relief Fund? How does this huge amount of money aid people who have lost jobs due to the pandemic? How does this aid families who have been stricken with the virus? Also, diverting funds to save the U.S. Postal Service, which serves the needs of ordinary citizens, is very suspicious in terms of doing away with mail-in ballots. Manipulation of an election at its best.

I would beg Congress to prioritize responsible use of our tax dollars, and do it now.
