Letter: Share stories of mail slowdown

I have also had problems with no mail deliveries one to two days per week and delayed mail deliveries. As a result, I drive important correspondence (ballot, bill payments) directly to the post office instead of leaving them in the outgoing mail in my neighborhood. The Columbian ran a wire article on Aug. 7 titled “Senator to probe postal delays.” I followed up on the article and found a form to complete to provide information on mail delivery problems to the Senate inquiry on that topic. You can submit a form with your experience to: www.peters.senate.gov/postal.

I definitely do not want to lose the valuable services of the USPS because of politics.
