Educational Opportunities for Children and Families will keep distributing food boxes for families in need through June 2021.

“We are pleased to continue providing food service to help alleviate food insecurity at a time when our children and families and the surrounding community need it the most,” Executive Director Rekah Strong said in a news release.

Each weekly food box contains five breakfasts and five lunches meeting the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program requirements. They’re available for interested families with children younger than 18 (or 21 if the youth has special needs).

Boxes are available for pickup once weekly at the following times and sites:

• 8 a.m. to noon Mondays, noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays at EOCF Central Kitchen, 11215 N.E. 28th St., Vancouver.

• 10 a.m. to noon Fridays at EOCF Woodland, 600 Bozarth Ave.

• 10 a.m. to noon Fridays at Zellerbach Administration Center, 841 N.E. 22nd Ave., Camas.
