Boys basketball: Columbia River 74, Woodland 50

Josh Kukula’s game-high 27 points paced the Chieftains as they undefeated in the 2A Greater St. Helens League.

“He was on fire,” Woodland coach Jesse Buck said of Kukula.

Dylan Valdez added 15 and Nate Snook chipped in 14 as River took a 35-18 lead at halftime.

Isaiah Flanagan added 9 and Easton Ortega and Isaac Hall had eight to lead Woodland.
