Girls basketball: Ridgefield 46, Mark Morris 34

Grace Goode scored 16 points to lead the Spudders to their first 2A Greater St. Helens League win of the season.

“It was a long time coming,” Ridgefield coach Billy McKinney said. “I thought we won the state championship seeing the parents and kids jumping up and down.”

Goode also had seven rebounds and three steals. The Spudders (3-16, 1-10) collected 22 steals, led by six from Annikka Hill.

Lily Koski-Haase scored 16 points for Mark Morris (5-14, 1-10).
