Letter: Offer evening high school classes

By Mason Shaffer, Battle Ground

I believe that high school students should be able to choose between taking day classes or evening classes at their local schools. A lot of high school students don’t like waking up at 7 a.m. to go to school because it’s too early and they’d probably prefer classes in the evening instead.

Plus, it’d make it easier to get a job for juniors and seniors because they’d have the opportunity to work in the morning instead of only in the evening after they get off school.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
