Kamelai Powell scored a game-high 19 points and Jaydia Martin had 15 as the Eagles clinched a 3A state regional round berth.

Hudson’s Bay (17-6) moves into the semifinals of the 3A bi-district tournament where the Eagles will face 3A GSHL foe Prairie on Wednesday.

The game is scheduled for Puyallup, but the teams are hoping to relocate closer to home.

“Martin and Powell played a really good game,” Bay coach Michael Rainville said. “Plus great ballhandling by (Paytin) Ballard. The team really pulled together.”
