A man and woman are wanted by police for a string of thefts at Clark County Walmarts, and they may be headed for Cowlitz County, according to Cowlitz 911 dispatch logs.

The pair hit three Clark County Walmarts on Monday, according to information sent to Cowlitz 911. They were described as driving a black Toyota Scion with an Oregon license plate.

The woman and driver was waited in the car while the man goes inside the stores, steals items and then leaves through emergency exits, according to call log information.

He was described as white and in his mid-40s with a medium build and brown hair. He may be wearing a gray hat, blue-white checkered shirt and blue jeans.

The vehicle fled from Battle Ground police officers after it was spotted near the Battle Ground Walmart, according to the call logs. That department has developed probable cause for arresting the suspects, who are wanted for questioning in several other thefts.
