Letter: Hold company responsible

I struggle to understand why Vigor plans to dump dredge material in the Columbia River for the Army Corps of Engineers to re-dredge in time (“Vigor seeks permit to dredge marina,” The Columbian, Feb. 6). Shouldn’t it be Vigor’s obligation to responsibly dispose of dredged material?
