Camas girls basketball playoff game moved because of coronavirus

Camas’ girls basketball game in the 4A state regional round against Lake Stevens on Saturday was moved to Shorewood High School in Shoreline because of a coronavirus case found in Everett.

A student at Jackson High School in Everett tested positive for the virus and the school was closed Friday night for cleaning. The school was supposed to host four regional games of the state basketball tournaments on Saturday.

All games were moved to Shorewood by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association. Camas and Lake Stevens will play at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The Jackson boys team is scheduled to play Skyview on Saturday in Battle Ground.The WIAA made no announcement Friday night to postpone that game. The game is scheduled to tip off at 4 p.m. at Battle Ground High School.
