Volunteers needed for Clark County advisory board on developmental disability issues

Clark County is seeking three experienced volunteers to serve on a board that advises the county council on developmental disability issues.

One position on the Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board represents customers and families of young adults with developmental disabilities, especially those who use county and state services, according to a news release. The second vacancy is for a person with knowledge of special education, and the third is for someone with interest or expertise in early childhood education and services.

The board meets at 5:15 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month at the Center for Community Health, Room C210, 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd.

Resumes and letters of interest may be sent to Tina Redline at Clark County Council, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, or by email at tina.redline@clark.wa.gov. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Jan. 27.
