Coach Phil Kent said his team’s defense was the difference maker to down one of the two 1A Trico League undefeated teams.

“We knew that we couldn’t get Abby (Cummins) and Laurel (Quinn) get going,” said Kent, who called that tandem the best in the league.”

The duo combined for 26 points, but the Cougars held the Knights to under 50 points, another team goal.

Jasmine Morgan led Seton with 20 points and Maddie Willis added 14. Seton outscored King’s Way 30-17 in the second half.
