The bowling pins at Bailey’s Tiger Bowl never stood a chance when the Prairie and Fort Vancouver girls teams showed up Thursday.
In one of the highest scoring and closest matches of the season, Prairie edged Fort 2,129 pins to 2,125.
Both those team scores fall inside the top eight rolled this season.
The average score of the 10 bowlers was 181.05.
Prairie’s Karley Wold-Hayes had the high series of the match with a 395 (215-180). Her teammate Elissa St. Julian had a 383 (200-183).
Fort Vancouver had two bowlers with 376 series. Nina Albrecht rolled games of 226-150 and Gillian Snyder went 176-200.
Going into the baker games, Fort had a 1813-1808 lead.
Prairie got three pins back on the first baker game (139-136) and then pulled out the victory with a 182 second baker game to Fort’s 176.
