R.A. Long coach Jan Karnofski said the first-place Panthers “put on a clinic” in the second both on offense and defense to conclude the first half of 2A GSHL undefeated.

A 27-all tie at halftime quickly turned into a 20-2 run to gain control by the fourth quarter.

Jaiden Bea went 3 for 3 on 3-pointers in the third quarter to finish with 21 points. Skylar Bea added 16 and Savea Mansfield added on 13.

Not to be outdone was Miranda Lomax’s career-high 32, just four points off the single-game career scoring mark set in the 1970s at RAL.

“She was the total package (tonight),” Karnofski said.
