Girls basketball: Woodland 62, Ridgefield 43

The Spudders had 23 steals, but had just as many turnovers, as the Beavers won their second straight league game.

“We’d take it,” Ridgefield coach Billy McKinney said, referring to his team’s steals, “but gave it right back.”

Payten Foster led Woodland with 16 points and Lucy George added 13. Nicole Guthrie chipped in 11.

Courtney Beyer led Ridgefield with 10 points and Kelli Krsul added nine. Grace Goode chipped in eight.
