In 2015, the Obama administration imposed prohibitions on cruelly killing bears and their cubs while hibernating using doughnuts and artificial lights, along with using dogs to hunt black bears; using headlamps in dens to kill wolves and their pups; and shooting swimming caribou from a boat and targeting animals from airplanes and snowmobiles.
The Trump administration is ending this ban effective July 9. The only reason for lifting this ban is to appease the big game hunters, such as Trump’s son, to go on a killing spree to prove their manhood and to reverse yet another Obama environmental protection enactment. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will release the new rules for public comment.
