Letter: Herrera Beutler protects vulnerable

It appears that David Miller skipped the research before he submitted his letter to the editor attacking Jaime Herrera Beutler (“Vote to protect health care,” July 8). Miller suggests that Jaime doesn’t have a plan to cover pre-existing conditions: False. Jaime Herrera Beutler helped introduce the Continuing Coverage for Preexisting Conditions Act of 2019, which would protect coverage for those with pre-existing conditions. She has always fought to protect the most vulnerable among us.

Anyone paying attention knows that improving health care, protecting pre-existing conditions, and lowering the cost of prescription drugs have been priorities for Herrera Beutler.
