Troopers say a woman was driving under the influence when she crashed into a C-Tran bus Saturday night on the Interstate 5 Bridge.

At about 9 p.m., 24-year-old Irma C. Savoy of Arlington, Texas, was speeding south on the bridge when she lost control of her 2002 Buick Regal. The car spun sideways and struck the rear of a C-Tran bus, according to a news release from the Washington State Patrol.

Savoy was injured and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. A 48-year-old Portland man, who was a passenger on the bus, may have been injured, according to the news release.
