Letter: Snakes tend to slither

You preach the “right to life” while forcing people to take deadly risks? You wonder why your children are in the street struggling to breathe? Or do you figure they’re not yours to bother over?

What does Eric Prince (remember Blackwater?) know about the federal “troops” in Portland? I remember Mr. Prince as the brother of our secretary of education, who is intent on forcing our children, parents and educators into a cauldron of risk. What about local golden boy Don Benton? Is he ready to call your sons and daughters to “national service”? Makes me wonder where they all are.

Lots of family affairs going on, but not much life, liberty or pursuit of happiness. Honor John Lewis and all of the gentle patriots whose legacies sustain us: vote for life, love and clean air.
