Dutch Bros, the popular coffee drive-thru chain, said over the weekend that a case of novel coronavirus was confirmed among the employees at its Hazel Dell coffee stand.

The employee has been advised to self-isolate for 14 days, according to a press release from Dutch Bros., which is based in Grants Pass, Ore., and has about a dozen locations in Clark County.

The employee at the Hazel Dell location, 9913 N.E. Hazel Dell Ave., worked morning shifts on May 15 and 26 and midday to evening shifts on May 18-20, 22 and 27. The stand closed Saturday for a third-party deep cleaning.

The company said it is working with public health officials on safety protocols. Dutch Bros has temporarily banned the use of personal mugs at drive-thrus and closed walk-ins and walk-up windows. It is no longer accepting cash.
