Vancouver police officers are investigating a break-in at a convenience store on Northeast Vancouver Mall Drive.

Officers were dispatched at 5:10 a.m. Thursday to a silent alarm set off by glass breaking at the Minit Mart, 7107 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive.

Officers found the store’s glass door had been shattered, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said in an email.

Video showed entry to the store had been made with a two-sided axe, Kapp said.

She said two people are believed to be involved. Police did not say whether anything was taken from the store.

The police department provided images from the incident. One of them shows a male with a cast on his right arm.

The suspects were gone when officers arrived; they have not been located.
