Washougal educator recognized for excellence
Hillary Marshall, a Library Media Specialist at Washougal High School, was named to OnPoint Community Credit Union’s Circle of Excellence. In addition to a cash prize, the award ensures a $1,000 donation to Washougal High School in honor of Marshall’s achievement.
Two youth mentors receive awards
Shannon Imel and Paul Krane have received the Boy Scouts Of America Silver Beaver award, in recognition of their dedication to volunteerism. Imel and Krane are mentors with the Columbia River District of the Cascade Pacific Council, Boy Scouts of America. The Silver Beaver Award is the top award that a local Boy Scout council can bestow upon a volunteer mentor.
