Surf-music legends The Beach Boys will perform at 7 p.m. Sept. 6 at ilani in Ridgefield.

The Beach Boys have sold 100 million records worldwide, 33 of them platinum and gold. The 2001 Grammy Awards gave The Beach Boys a lifetime achievement award. And the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
Since The Beach Boys’ first hit, “Surfin'” (1961), dozens of the band’s chart toppers have become eternal anthems of American youth: “Surfin’ USA,” “Surfer Girl,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “I Get Around,” “California Girls,” “Help Me Rhonda,” “Barbara Ann,” “Good Vibrations,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “Rock and Roll Music” and “Kokomo.”
