Color Run raises $11,000 for schools

RIDGEFIELD — The Ridge Color Run held on March 7 at Davis Park raised close to $11,000 to benefit Sunset Ridge Intermediate and View Ridge Middle schools. Organized by The Ridge, a parent organization for the schools, about 400 people participated. The color run showered people with brightly colored powder as they completed the two-mile run, which helped to kick off Ridgefield’s Youth Arts Month.
