Firefighters quickly extinguished a motor home fire Tuesday morning in Camas.

Crews with the Camas-Washougal Fire Department were dispatched at 10:14 a.m. to the 2000 block of Northwest Douglas Street for a report of a commercial vehicle fire.

Four engines and two battalion chiefs responded to the address, fire department spokesman Kevin West said.

The first arriving crew found a motor home with an active fire in its interior, West said. The motor home was parked on a pad between two houses, which were not damaged. The inside of the vehicle was severely damaged, he said.

The fire was extinguished within 10 minutes.

The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
