Letter: Trump embarrasses U.S.

In response to the recent letter from Frank Krbeck (“Vote for Republicans,” Our Readers’ Views, March 17), I find it baffling that he would encourage voting GOP and conservative because President Trump called Governor Inslee a snake.

My reaction was the opposite because I felt that it was a very rude thing to call any head of a state government the day after he gave a speech encouraging us to all work together as a country and a family through these difficult times.

His name-calling and hateful outbursts are embarrassing and beneath the expected character of the President of the United States.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
