CAMAS — Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, one group of seniors did local outreach singing hymns in the lobby of PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Now they’re making masks. Ken Campbell at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, the group has made hundreds of cloth face masks for nurses who work for area clinics, rehabilitation centers and pharmacists, according to church member Roger Young. “In this quarantine time, they stay home but diligently make cloth face masks for needed people. They devote their time and love for this community,” Young said.
