The Oregon Air National Guard has scheduled a F-15 Eagle flyover today over PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver and other hospitals in Oregon to salute health care workers.

The Vancouver flyover is scheduled for 8:50 a.m. at an altitude of approximately 1,500 feet above ground level at approximately 400 mph airspeed. Flights could be canceled or times changed due to inclement weather or operational contingencies.

The jets will proceed to a number of hospitals in Oregon for the rest of the tribute, which is scheduled to be conducted by Oregon’s 173rd Fighter Wing, based in Klamath Falls, Ore., and the 142nd Wing, based in Portland.

Anyone living in and around these hospitals should see and hear the jets. People are encouraged to view the flights from the safety of their own homes and practice physical distancing.
