Letter: Trump lacks ability to lead

When Dr. Anthony Fauci, in response to a question from a senator, outlines what the best practices are in relation to opening schools, his advice is certainly an acceptable truth. His background in this area makes him an authority with impeccable credentials and highly qualified to answer the question. The response from Donald Trump, who has no background or knowledge about this pandemic and simply disagrees because he doesn’t like the answer he was given, is not acceptable. This is the man who said the virus would simply disappear, who suggested taking disinfectant internally would cure you, and many other outrageous and uninformed statements. This shows us he has no credibility to disagree with the experts.

The CDC printed clear and concise guidelines on reopening the economy, but because Trump didn’t like their answers or timelines, he simply buried the report. The list of poor decisions and inaction from him since this pandemic broke out grows daily. He continues to be inept in dealing with this issue, and the more he talks, the more his lack of knowledge becomes apparent. The only acceptable response to his actions is to vote him out of office in November.
