The Vancouver Police Department says two sisters who were reported missing have been found safe.

The VPD made that announcement just after 1 p.m. Sunday.

Just before 8 a.m. that morning, the VPD released a bulletin seeking information on the whereabouts of Janaya A. Burnett, 12, and Cheyanne M. Fulmer, 11.

The sisters had last been seen at the 13100 block of N.E. 18th St. in Vancouver.

“The Vancouver Police Department would like to thank the community for their assistance locating these juveniles,” the VPD said in a statement.
