Letter: Republicans need to stand up

Republicans, please! Will somebody please put a leash on this guy? Up to $3 billion to paint black or powder coat the Trump fence on the Southern border. I realize it’s a distraction from the fact that he went golfing while the infections geometrically spread. Sort of like Nero fiddling while Rome burned.

But it’s not too late for Republicans to get up on their hind legs and say “no” to him. Or are they waiting for one last looting of the Treasury before it goes down?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
