MEADOW HOMES — Fort Vancouver High School alumni group Trappers4Trappers recently “TP’d the Fort,” or rather, held a hygiene and toilet paper drive for the Family Community Resource Center on Monday. “Many of the Fort students struggle to meet their basic needs,” a press release said. “So let’s show our Trapper spirit and toilet paper the Fort.” The drive was held in conjunction with the school’s Class of 1975, in memory of classmate Mike Savage. Donors ranged from current freshmen to retired teachers and a 79-year-old graduate, while others donated online. Supplies can be shipped to Fort Vancouver High School, Attention Cindy Cooper, 5700 E. 18th St., Vancouver. Drop-offs can be arranged by contacting Cooper at 360-313-4179, by email at cindy.cooper@vansd.org or delivering them directly from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 16 or 8 to 11 a.m. Dec. 9.
