Letter: Now it’s Biden’s turn

We have won our democracy back. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are recognized as our next president and vice president around the world. Trumpland, which was only a delusion in Trump’s mind anyway, is no more. It’s time for him to prepare to leave the White House. He doesn’t own it. We, the people, lent it to him for four years, and now it’s Biden’s turn.

If President Trump cared about this country, he would admit defeat at the polls and help the transition to the next administration. We need a smooth and speedy transition more than ever so that we can move ahead on the war against COVID-19.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
