Letter: Question automated parking

Regarding “In Our View: Planned automated parking garage smart step,” (The Columbian, Nov. 13) they sound intriguing, but I have one question: If I arrive at my high-rise apartment building with a trunk full of groceries, how do I get all of it to my flat on the 12th floor in one trip if my car is locked inside some giant mechanical contraption?
